Anima d’Amalfi
Description
Since the 6th century, tourists and Italian locals have flocked to the inspiring Amalfi Coast and its 13 picture-perfect towns and villages. But legend has it that this little Italian gem actually dates back to 130 BCE. It was during this time that Hercules, the son of Zeus, fell in love with a female called Amalfi. When she died prematurely, Hercules was said to be heartbroken and knew the only place to bury her was a tiny corner of the Amalfi Coast. Surrounded by seas and rocks, the Amalfi Coast is said to be a natural jewel carved out by God. Hercules believed it was one of the most beautiful places on earth so he set out to find the most secluded spot where he could remember Amalfi from.
With scent notes originating from the inspiring Amalfi Coast, Anima d’Amalfi is an exotic mixture of citrus, fruity and deep aromas. The name itself takes inspiration from a love letter to the soul of Amalfi, while the scent, similar to memories created in this region, provides instant appeal and everlasting effects. The base of our luxury perfume is crafted with a combination of hinoki wood, cedarwood, vetiver, amber and musk to create a warm and divine fragrance. This is then underlined with the scent of basil leaves, gentle mint, red thyme and cypress. To finish, we’ve added bergamot, lemon, ginger and juniper berries for a fresh and breezy musky scent.
Journey to better days and allow Anima d’Amalfi to embrace you just like the warmth of the beating sunshine.

Top Notes
Bergamot
The Amalfi Coast bergamot is a citrus fruit that grows in the shadow of the famous Amalfi lemons. Its vibrant and rounded fragrance contributes to the characteristic fresh and citrusy olfactory imprinting of the air in this land.
Lemon
Unique in the world with their tapered shape and grown contemplating the Mediterranean from the hills in the strip of land between Positano and Vietri, the Amalfi lemons entrust their fresh and enveloping essence to the wind so that it spreads along the entire coast, down to the sea.
Ginger
From the bowels of the earth, ginger roots bring to the surface a spice with an exotic and balsamic scent, sharp in its spiciness. Ginger essential oil, always the preferred mate of citrus fragrances, enriches the bouquet with warm and spicy notes.
Juniper
Berries Juniper gives its fleshy berries aromatic scents, with a musky and woody undertone that immediately recalls the aromatic explosion of the Mediterranean scrub. A sharp note, the offspring of an ever-smoldering tension between initial sweetness and a bitter aftertaste.
Heart Notes
Basil
Leaves The emblem of the Mediterranean, even at the olfactory level: all the emanations of basil refer to these latitudes, from the intense and brilliant green that colors the balconies to the aromatic taste that enriches every dish, up to the summery and intoxicating essence.
Spearmint
Spearmint is the green mint that covers the hills overlooking the sea in front of Amalfi and, mixing its fresh sweetness with the citrus fragrance that emanates from the citrus groves, cheers and revives the scented air of these lands.
Red Thyme
The aromatic and balsamic character of this perfume is largely due to the fragrance of red thyme, which binds to the citrus notes in a merry game of contrasts that takes place on the common ground of freshness.
Cypress
The rows of cypresses on the Amalfi Coast are an integral part of the Mediterranean landscape, and their scent is an essential component of Mediterranean air: a warm and resinous essence that connects the green of the hills to the blue of the waters.
Base Notes
Hinoki
Wood Japanese cypress wood comes from a sacred tree of the Far East and has a woody and aromatic fragrance, in which citrus notes stand out that establish an olfactory bridge between Japan and the Mediterranean scrub.
Cedarwood
Energetic, vital, dynamic: the scent of cedar expresses at the olfactory level the characteristics and properties of this plant. A dry, warm, and enveloping woody component that gives intensity and lets unsuspected balsamic notes filter through.
Vetiver
A typical element of perfume bases, vetiver presents itself with a woody fragrance but hides under this facade a complexity of facets, ranging from citrus to the greenest and floral notes.
Amber
A fixative for base notes, amber combines scents that come from the depths of the sea with other more woody and dry fragrances, up to reminiscences of incense.
Musk
The persistent note of musk forms the base of this perfume, bringing its classic note and acting as a fixative element, with a lasting effect on the skin.
